Magenta Jewels -

Water beads on a decorative cabbage leaf. Taken specifically for the Macro weekly assignment over at Fred Miranda’s forums. Up against some wonderful competition with another 16+ pictures, it has been selected as one of the finalists for voting on as the winner of the weekly assignment. I’m pleased as punch especially as many of the other shots were wonderful, and some more technically challenging to pull off. Taken with a 70-300mm at ~135mm with 24mm of extension tubes. 15s @ f/18.
