It’s 1:30 am and it’s 41 degrees outside! Earlier today we hit the mid 60’s! Johann and I headed out to the park for a bit of running and soccer, the first real opportunity to spent and hour or so outside with the soccer ball since the the year began. When we got back we spent another half hour playing in the hallway with one of our neighbors and her Jack Russel terrier.
Johann and Kayden (the terrier) raced up and down the hall throwing and chasing a tennis ball wrapped in a frog disguise. Daniel (our neighbor, Kayden’s human) and Tammy talked—cooking, economy, job situations. I split my time between talking with the ladies and playing with both Kayden and Johann. Johann really enjoyed being able to really unwind and run flat out, especially outside. He really loved playing tug-of-war with Kayden too.
As for the spring weather…
It looks like it will stay warm for a few days, but I doubt seriously that we have seen the last of winter, after all it’s still February…
