Animal Searches

Whenever Johann catches me looking through the web pages and forums at Fred Miranda, he comes over and sits in my lap, and takes control of the mouse. The Nature and Wildlife forum has become a special place for us to continue our animal education. With photographers from all over the world frequenting the boards the opportunity to see a wide range of animals, many in their natural settings is amazing. When we spot an animal that is new to us, we head off to one of the many resources online and on the bookshelves to do more research.

Lately Johann has taken to creating his own stories for each of the photographs–giving the animals names and telling us what they are doing and thinking. When he saw a couple of my photographs up there he instantly recognized them and related the events around the photograph as well as making a new story for what they are doing in the picture. Somehow, the view of these animals through his eyes and stories is always even more amazing. Hopefully my photography skills will continue to improve to the point that he and I can take frequent excursions and then see the results on our site and at places like Fred Miranda.
