Last night the AC went out here in the factory. We didn’t really notice it until this morning because we keep the temperature moderate and it went out late in the afternoon. This morning though the humidity in the place was up to 60% and it was edging past 80 degrees by noon.
I was going to dye a bunch of stuff, but with the humidity so high there is no point doing it now. The steaming process will only aggravate the heat and humidity issues, and they would take ages to dry. I might as well wait until the AC is fixed. So we decided to take our neighbors dog out for a romp in the park around 3pm instead. ;)
Johann walked Kayden up to the park and back and really took his job of watching her today very seriously. We threw the ball with her for about an hour, by which point both pup and boy were panting and ready to take it easy for a while. Of course it made us think (and discuss with Johann) what life was like in the 1700’s in the summers here.
